«Helvetia» Restaurant & Bar

Our charming «Helvetia», affectionately known as «Helfti» by the locals, is the embodiment of this special New Town flair: just as the interior, the huge old solid oak floor, beechwood chairs and rustic oak tables made from more than one hundred year-old spruce wood are testimony to the living history of the city of Lucerne – since 1899. The cuisine celebrates the triumph of tradition with a pioneering «zeitgeist». There is seating for up to 90 people.

Our legendary, stylish «Helvetia bar» is a cult institution. Here we meet our vices with a sense of ease and, on occasion, with a little exuberance:  smoking is still permitted and we also offer meals from the restaurant.
