Wobmann Farming



Franz und Sibylle Wobmann-Schröter and their three children occupy and farm the bio farm in the fog-free, local recreation area of Schwarzenberg (770 m above sea level). Sibylle Wobmann’s parents lend a hand as required. On an area covering 22 hectares, they look after 3,500 laying hens in two stables and raise cattle. There is a dog, cats, rabbits and some dwarf goats under the care of the three children. Wobmann’s organic eggs are in a class of their own. The laying hens have been given solely soya-free food since November 2017. As a protein substitute, the hens pick sunflower cake and sunflower seeds.
