Neualp

Eigenthal

The Neualp (1,022 m above sea level), with its area of 70 hectares, is one of the largest agricultural farms in mountain zone II. The Schiltalp, Gass, Gustihütten and Buurestübli businesses all belong to it. Ueli Schwenk and Valérie Henzen maintain the business centre at the Neualp along with their employees. They are passionate Black Angus breeders, and keep around 70 suckler cows and just as many young stock. The cows are left to graze on the meadows as often as possible and spend the winter months in a modern cattle pen with plenty of light, air and an outdoor run.
